HORMONOTHERAPY (HORMONE DEPRIVATION THERAPY)

Use of drugs that decrease the level of sex hormones (testosterone or estrogens), or that block their action on tumor cells, with the aim of treating malignant tumors that are dependent on the presence of these hormones.
