SETORECTOMIA

Setorectomia is one of the modalities of breast-conserving surgery that consists of the removal of a sector of the organ. Thus, it aims to ensure the total removal of the tumor, with surgical safety margins.

Also known as lumpectomy or quadrantectomy, this surgical procedure aims to preserve the maximum amount of breast tissue and is commonly performed in the treatment of breast cancer.
