GRANULOCYTOSIS

Granulocytosis is the abnormally high quantity of granulocytes (immune system cells) in the blood or tissues.

This condition can be caused by various reasons, including autoimmune diseases, hematologic neoplasms (such as leukemia), and infections. Granulocytosis can be detected through a complete blood count that allows identifying the quantity of different types of white blood cells.
