Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most common brain tumor, accounting for about half of central nervous system tumors. GBM is a subtype of astrocytoma, with high aggressiveness and lethality, characterized by intense anaplasia and necrosis.
In general, GBM treatment involves surgery, followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. To learn more about the treatment of central nervous system tumors, please refer to the “Central Nervous System Tumors” section.
