CYTOTOXIC DRUGS

Cytotoxic drugs are medications that aim to damage tumor cells. Although this term is often used to refer to chemotherapy, molecular target drugs can also be considered cytotoxic.

Cytotoxic drugs specifically target the disruption of cancer cell replication.

The administration of these substances requires care and medical monitoring due to possible side effects, such as hair loss, suppression of the immune system, and gastrointestinal disorders, etc.
